Hello all,

I know this is fairly easy but I want to be sure I do it right. I have a coaxial cable in the attic running down the wall to my mom's room to a wall plate jack, then out to her TV.

I'd like to tap into that line and run it down to my room below the other side of the attic to install a second wall plate jack.

I want it to be done right with minimal signal loss (i guess not any more than 50% loss :) ). Reason being is I just got a TV card for my PC.

I've searched for tutorials on google but came up short, if anyone has links with images that'd be great.

thanks a lot in advance,

Tim

Just cut the cable put on some new ends plug them into a good splitter and you are on your way.

The important part is a high quality splitter, low quality and your signal quality will decrease for sure.
