Tips for Speeding up Intel X25-M G2

I've had this SSD for about 8 months, and of late I feel like my computer is a bit slower than it used to be, especially after using it for an hour or so; then it's a bit faster upon a restart(that may be more of a memory issue), but I didn't have this issue when I first installed the SSD. I thought I enable TRIM, via the Intel Firmware Update but I don't know how to test that I have.

In addition to that are there any good maintenance programs for Refreshing my SSD.

The System is a Dell Studio XPS with Core 2 Duo P8600, 4GB, DDR3-SDRAM PC3-8500, and INTEL SSDSA2M080G2GC (80GB)
running Windows 7, and I usually have about 10 Chrome Tabs up, 10 Firefox tabs up, and 2 or 3 Excel Files, but after an hour everything gets very slow.

Thanks for any tips!

Ok gotcha. Is it normal for Memory performance to get worse over time? I realize this is in the storage section so my apologies if my problem isn't strictly storage related.

Your problems may not be SSD related.

Agreed Intel's SSD Toolbox will tell you the number of bad sectors and errors reported. Its more than likely a software problem than a SSD problem. Try to clean out any startup programs and then try to isolate the problem to when only in one or two of your three main applications.
