I bought a Raliegh M30 when I was in highschool, and rode the thing almost daily - to and from school, and to work everyday one summer. But since I graduated and went on to college (which has been a couple years), it's basically been collecting dust. I'd like to start riding it again, but I know it probably needs a tune-up. Any suggestions on what I'd need to do? I know some of the cables - particularly the rear break - need to at least be tightened, if not replaced (it needed that when I was still riding it
). Maybe I should just take it into a local bike shop and have them take a look at it?
And then there's the part of me that just says "get a new one!"
I could do it, but I'd have to look around a bit. $350-400 would probably be the most I could spend right now.
