Guaranteeing that you never get a tip from that customer EVER. And possibly resulting in lost business for your restaurant which means they have less ability to maintain your employment. And, for all you know, it was initial poor service without any attempt at amends that caused that customer to get his reputation for poor tipping... and now you continue that poor service. Nice work, idiot.Originally posted by: rbloedow
Too bad - I guess no good service for you. If I'm delivering to a known cheapskate/no tipper, I tend to have to stop at the gas station and fill up my gas tank (well, it's got to be done some time), maybe take a couple of detours, or some other orders before yours because it's obvious other customers will be paying me for my better service.Originally posted by: Kanalua
Nobody tips me for doing a good/mediocre/horrible job at work. Why do delivery guys, bus boys, waitresses, etc. deserve more?
No tip for you!!!
Get a clue. When I worked food service, I treated all customers well, regardless of their reputations, and ALWAYS made the most tips in the restaurant. While some customers always stiff, others just need a chance to be treated right for once.
