Honestly, that's one of the reasons I loved visiting China.

The other great thing about China is that restaurants serve food "family style" where everyone shares everything, so it almost always works out to just split the bill into even portions and everyone pays their share. Not to mention everything is really cheap. Makes it super easy.

fuck that, unless it's an optional service -- outside of hotels, though, most places I see that have valet are valet-only.
