Tinted Windows

If you have tinted windows. When you had them done, did they leave a small strip about 1/8 of an inch from the top untinted on the windows that roll down? Thats what happened to my car and I dont know if I should ask them to redo it, or if that is a good way. I can only see it when I roll the windows down. Thanks

Cant be perfect. I havent looked too hard, but it seems understandable. Its better that than the ups and downs of the windows wear the tinting material off of the glass after 6 months and the top inch looks like crap.

Sorry, not very informative, but i dont think asking for it to be redone is necessary.

i could have sworn that my friends tint goes all the way to the edge of his window, but i am not sure???

yoru freind may have paid more and gotten a higher quality tint done. I know my mom's car tint leaves that little uncovered strip though.

i would rather pay more and have a better tint job, i think i would rather it al the way to the top though.

The higher quality job prolly leaves the strip uncovered....it'll last longer!

My car is like that and it has been on there for over 6 years. Of course I need to get it redone.
