Is anybody going to watch Tin Man when it starts up this Sunday? It looks really interesting.

About the show

For those that are interested, it's a 3-part miniseries that plays this coming Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at 9:00 PM ET. Each part is two hours long.

So who's gonna watch?

ETA 12/2 - It's starting tonight.

ETA 12/3- The replay of last night's episode (#1) is about to start -- 7:00 PM ET -- if you missed it last night.

ETA 12/3 - If you missed Monday evening's episode (#2), it will be replayed at 7:00 PM ET on Tuesday before the final episode (#3).

I'm going to check it out. I like the dark/twisted premise of the old Wizard of OZ, a fairy-tale for grown-ups.

Yeah, definitely. It shows real promise. I just hope it has a really good plot. If not it will just be another addition to a very long line of failed fantasy celluloid.

It looks promising. Do you know if they plan to have it as a regular Sci-Fi series after the mini-series is over?

There's nothing good on till it starts too - wtf is with them showing National Treasure before it? That movie doesn't belong on SciFi ... I'd prefer if they showed the original though, that'd be a cool prelude.

It looks pretty good to me, my only problem is..... when i get tired while watching TV, commercials bore me so much that I fall asleep through them. This usually only happens from 9:00pm - 11:30pm or so. As long as the commercials aren't long I should be fine haha.

So those of you who have watched the first episode, what did you think? I liked it... I think. LOL

It was slow going in the beginning but it picked up OK. I thought it was definitely a little weird though. I'll definitely be watching tomorrow.

In case you missed it, it's starting now again on the channel and I believe it's being replayed tomorrow if you want to DVR it.

Your thoughts?

Just finished watching the first part, and it definitely exceeded my expectations, which were already rather high. Can't wait for the next part tomorrow! :thumbsup:

Aye, it's definitely rather weird, but I like it that way. The ways in which they changed the original story were pretty creative, I thought.
