Does lower latencies count with the current Intel C2D & C2Q's??? & How would it, if at all, effect frames per second in games? I know it made a difference on the AMD side cause I use to own an FX60 & PC 3200 @ 2.2.2.5 ...even 1T to 2T was a noticeable difference... so again, do lower latencies count on the current Intel CPU's???

To be fair, you posted your question in the middle of the night in the United States, and didn't even wait for people to get up Saturday morning to post a response.

Patience, young Jedi.

The difference in the real world is minimal, but I don't have hard FPS figures. The only way for you to tell for sure would be to try some different timings and run some gaming benchmarks. Personally I didn't feel a difference, but that's a subjective statement - I never did any objective testing.

Hah :D true true

I'm just trying to ramp up my DDR3 and am having difficulties getting to 1700 (425fsb) at 9.9.9.24 2T which is beyond the default timings of 7.7.7.21 ; even with DRAM v increase So, i'm thinking I may have to pick up some DDR3 1800 or 2000 but for the second time around, its a little bit too much $$$ for 4Gb or even 2Gb configs but I may if the timings are not as big a factor as on an AMD machine...
