My wife's Aunt tells her last night that she is going to be working at the NBA All-Star Game this weekend through the county government where she is employed. She then tells her that she can get me and my wife or a friend in to work as well. It would basically be a job like working the turnstyles and taking tickets for $10/hr. So, my wife tells me when I get home and I say that sounds like fun. Wife calls Aunt this morning and <insert Madden boom here> Aunt tells the wife that sign-up was two days ago! :Q D'oh!

I may still get the opportunity because the Aunt is going to see if I can take her husband's spot since he is unlikely to make it but I kind of doubt it.

I just want to go to the Slam Dunk and 3-point competition.

I could never find tickets for it.

That was the event that I would have been working :( Tickets are hella expensive of course.

My wife has three aunts that work for local county governments and we can occasionally get tickets to various games. I don't usually ask unless they offer (hate coming off as a begger) so we get these kind of deals maybe once or twice a year.
