Ok, i'm looking at traveling to vegas or mexico sometime in September. What's with all these timeshare presentations? Is it just one giant sales pitch with salesman from hell? What do you get out of it?

linky

? Timeshares are worthless and cannot be resold.
? Don't attend timeshare presentations because you might be tempted to make a huge mistake and buy.
? Prizes that are promised are usually overblown and of little value.

are you talking about actually getting a timeshare or just attending the presentation for whatever free gift they're giving? ive the done the free gift thing a couple of times and its pretty simple, just sit and listen to them for a hour or 2, just make sure you know what you're getting ahead of time so its not a waste of your time.

Exactly - I just want free stuff. I don't mind spending an hour or two listening to some stuff for free comps.
