Time zone difference when using Computer Management to access a remote PC?

Howdy,

So I have to view the System Logs from remote PCs every now and then. Some of these PCs are in other time zones. When I connect up to a remote machine, will Windows automatically convert the time zone that shows up in the Log Viewer to match the time zone I'm in? Or will it show me the logs in the local time they were created.

I'm having an issue matching up some data and it looks like it does the time zone conversion but I just want some confirmation on that so I know I don't have something else going on...

Thanks.

Windows stores time as local time rather than UTC, so I'd expect the timestamps on the remote PC to be different.

You can check this by generating an event (say, printing something) and looking at its timestamp.
