LOL - I can't wait to see which network pays her the most for exclusive rights to air this :p

But then again she'll never admit she was wrong and actually do what she promised....just like a certain Baldwin;)

Aren't Babs and Baldwin supposed to be moved out of the country by now?? I guess we will see Garofolo apologize and deliver the flowers the same day that the moving van shows up to take these other village idiots out of the country.....

Who cares what that unfunny lesbian thinks?

Just another disgruntled democrat with a microphone in her face.

So if some people (justifiably) greet troops with hugs and cheers while others (not just Saddam loyalists) greet troops with bullets . . . what does that mean? Bush has juxtaposed Saddam's regime to a US invasion . . . who wouldn't look better?!

Actually the large majority of these snipers that are not Saddam loyalists are turning out to be foreigners from other Arab nations. Funny, as I read your post I was watching more footage (new, at least I haven't seen it yet) of large groups of Iraqis celebrating and taking down more statues.

It just shows the true face of some of the the left wing dems.

She is willing to talk the talk but not walk the walk. pretty simple.

Much like old Alec. He talked a good game but decided that he had better stay where his bread and butter are. Coward.

Oh, you didn't hear? All of the people celebrating are exiles flown in by the CIA and are paid to look happy. The rest of the Iraqis are being herded into work camps to export the oil to the U.S. strategic reserves.

Well, at least that's what some anti-war folks think. ;)

She hasn't got the guts.
I saw the original interview with O'Reilly. The look of outright panic that swept over her face after she said it was priceless.
One more celebrity loud mouth going down in flames.:D

Actually she was right about one thing, Dubya was a greater threat to peace than Hussien which our preemptive attack on Iraq proves.

Baldwin is a coward? Why is that again? 'Cause he was opposed to the war? I must have missed something. I've always considered those who go with the flow to be the true cowards. That's just me....
Bush is probably as great a threat to world security as Hussein was, if only because of the amount of military power that's under his (Bush's) thumb. Saddam wacks out and what could he do? Kill a few thousand people sure, but that's about it. If God tells Bush to nuke the world, and he does it, you've got a pretty big problem. I don't see anything inherently "liberal" or "anti-american" in that statement at all. It's just simple logic. Putin certainly has the potential to be a huge threat to world security, for many of the same reasons that apply to Bush. I don't think that "god" speaks to Putin quite as frequently as he speaks to Bush tho...thankfully.

What would have happened if Saddam had sent a few missiles with sarin nerve gas over to Tel Aviv? If Israel retalitated as they have said they would it's just possible that WWIII would have started.

He was already keeping the situation destabilized by paying the families of the Palestinian suicide bombers for killing Israelis.

I think you missed the point :D

During the 2000 Election Campaign, Alec Baldwin stated that if Bush was elected, he and his wife were moving out of the US, (and I am still waiting to see it)

Removing despotic regimes usually produces such an outcome even if you dislike your "liberators". If we launched a cruise missile barrage against the settlements in the West Bank and Gaza I'm sure a large groups of Palestinians would be celebrating in the street. Be careful with the conclusions you draw from anecdote . . . the larger context often produces a much different picture.

First, who cares what "celebrities" think? Actors are just that: actors.
Second, it appears that apology is contigent upon finding "all kinds of bad, bad stuff" (O'Reilly's words, thank God he made tabloid journalism legit...
rolleye.gif
), which we have not.

As for Bush being "as great a threat to peace as Hussein," that seems to be true enough. "War is Peace."

That doesn't explain the writing of USA on statues and Iraqi's waving American flags. You could celebrate the fall of the dictator without expressing how good America was. Many Iraqis did express just that.

Probably because these uneducated, idiot celebs get twice as much face time on camera to say whatever they think than conservatives do. Just because someone made a movie or sang a song that I liked doesn't mean I want to hear what they think about politics over and over and over like they're some expert.

What's really funny is that of the most prominent anti-Bush (not anti-war, they are anti-Bush) celebs that like to say the whole administration is stupid, the vast majority either never went to college, or dropped out. Streisand. Sheen. Pitt. Aniston. Clooney. Farrell. etc, etc. etc.
Not that going to college automatically makes you smart, but it's funny to see these liberal idiots calling people (not just W, his whole administration) stupid when everyone in Bush's cabinet is far more educated than they will ever be.
