I am moving soon, and am trying to decide who to pick for my TV and HSI needs. I am in Columbus, OH, I know WOW is only avilable in a few other areas, but TW is available most places. This rating by JD Power, seems to show WOW as the top non satellite service. This is for TV only though, and does not include HSI.

Both companies have thier pros and cons.

TW-Pros:They currently off roadrunner and digital cable for 79.95/month, which is cheaper then WOW(using its top speed of internet and analog cable), they are an established company, with a huge market share.

Cons:Roadrunner tops out at 3mbps(not including thier new premium service), slower then WOW's top tier package. No contract or guarentee means prices could rise at any time.

WOW-Pros:Guarenteed price until January of 2007 means no unexpected price increases, faster that roadrunner, smaller market share would hopefully result in more avilable bandwidth.

Cons-Wow is more expensive for thier analog cable then TW's digital with current specials, while WOW/americast has been around for a while, they used to have a bad rap, but it seems to have and still be improving.

Basically I am looking for opinions on the 2. I have checked broadband reports, but they tend not to include the TV aspect of the companies, and pretty much thier reviews are mixed for both companies. BBR themselves rated WOW a bit higher then TW. All in all I was leaning towards WOW, but with the new TW special, that makes them surprisingly cheap.

I would also consider Direct TV or Dish, but I was worried about reception during storms and whatnot, how is it with them? And also by getting HSI from one company and TV from another will likely be more expensive.

After checking into it a bit, I noticed that the sattelite companies, are actually a bit cheaper then the cable companies, so how is the reception on the sat.'s, I don't want to lose my cable every time it rains or is cloudy.
