Time Warner digital cable w/ DVR

Nocturnal

Lifer
I recorded a pay-per-view movie with my DVR and it still has it saved. When I asked if this was possible the customer service rep said it wasn't possible.

Did anyone else successfully record any ppv with their dvr?

Nope but I'm glad it's possible. Maybe this POS DVR will be worth something after all...

What is a DVR? Is it a service offered by Time Warner?

Digital Video Recorder
Wow, I think I am going to sign up🙂 They finally have it in my area it looks like.

what are you talking about sign up ?

DVR is a seperate unit ... i.e Tivo, Replay How are you going to sign up for it?

You have to purchase the unit inorder to use it. ( Needs subscription too but not necessary )

it's a service by timewarner, it replaces your current cable tv digital box, with a newer model that does the same thing but has DVR built in, you dont have to buy the unit, just pay 6 dollars a month and you get the DVR and the service, i think it's up to 40 hours of record, pause live tv etc.
