Time to upgrade?

I figured I'd check in here with my current setup and ask you guys if upgrading anything is worthwhile at this point, or if I'm better off waiting another generation of hardware.

CPU: i5-3570k (overclocked to 4.2ghz)
Mobo: ASRock Z77 Pro3
GPU: Gigabyte Geforce 670 (factory overclocked)
Memory: 16GB Samsung DDR3
Hard Drive: 256GB SSD Samsung 840 Pro

Reason I mentioned this at all is I finally ran into a game I can't run maxed out, Dragon Age: Inquisition. I can only run it in high at 60fps, not ultra.

So, is there anything worth upgrading, or am I better off waiting?

Pretty similar to my system. The only thing that might really be starting to show its age is the graphics card.

Whether it's worth upgrading is really a question for you. Personally, I don't mind playing on high settings instead of ultra to get 60FPS. If that's just not something you're really comfortable with and you have the money to spend, you could upgrade the video card.

There's always going to be something better coming around the bend, so the "should I wait" question is really just about your tolerance for lowered settings vs. your expendable cash. (And if you aren't spending cash in hand on computer parts, then forget about it.)

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

If you're willing to spend the ~$330 on a new GTX 970 in order to run DA:I at Ultra, then yes it is time to upgrade. Otherwise, no it is not.
