I'll just list my specs and see what you guys think:

This is a gaming rig.

amd 3200+ stock
msi neo2 plat
1 gb ocz plat rev 2
74 gb raptor
evga 6800 gt (overclocks nicely) AGP

Anywhere to go with this that makes sense from a performance/ cost view?

You should keep it for a little while longer and wait until Conroe (Intel's new CPU) comes out. Your system isn't too old yet, so you can afford to wait. By sometime around mid to late-July, Conroe chips should be out in the market and the prices should be fairly stable. At that point, you can consider AMD vs. Intel. Until then, however, waiting is a good idea.

I'm kind of in the same boat here warpigeon. I agree with everyone else on the whole waiting deal, as I am doing the same myself. Good luck with the new PC build/purchase in the future!
