Time to upgrade.

Very bad stepping and only works in one board.🙁

you want the 2800AX retail box and Chaintech VNF3-250 totals out at $205.

This setup on stock HSF will easy make 2300Mhz.

But what the sempron they say the get to 2.5 would that be worth it?
I could upgrade later to a true 64 bit cpu when prices come down.

Keep in mind, the 754 socket and CPU's are only slated to be produced through mid 2005, then they are done. If your looking for something now on a budget, then 754 is ok.

But if your looking for something that will be easily upgradeable in the future, I would go with a 939 socket motherboard and get one of the new .09 3000+ A64's. I think you'll get much more bang for your buck, both in overclocking and in future upgrading.
