Time to upgrade?

I noticed that I haven't done a major upgrade for more than 2 years.

My current rig (the oldest parts that I would consider upgrading):

P4 2.4B @ 2.66
P4T533-C Mobo
1 gig Samsung RDRAM

I'm guessing I could get about $400 if I piece this stuff out on Ebay (mostly because of the ram).

The stuff I would get

AMD 64 3000+
DFI Lanparty UT NF3
1 gig PC3200

this would cost about $450

Is $50 plus the hassle worth it?
 
If the pc is just gonna be used for web browsing and biz apps, I'd say no. If for gaming etc, I'd say definetly yes.

Thanks, I do gaming and music recording along with browsing and biz apps.
