now I have a series of questions that I would love answers to. (screw the bullets, too pissed to try to deal with them)
1) Why was the second link locked. I grow highly disturbed when a thread is locked in Distributed Computing even though it deals with Distributed Computing (loss of a member). While you normal members don't give a rat's ass if somebody says they are leaving in other forums, we (team anandtech) actually like to have our membership rise instead of drop.
2) There were points raised, and the biggest one is why the hell is nickdakick banned but your precious Elite Member Red Dawn not banned. Red Dawn has made it a mission in the past to post on every one of Paulson's threads bashing him.
3) Why *NOW* are the moderators finally trying to prevent member bashing? This should have been done from the start, but you (admin) are trying this both ways. Allowing members to get flamed on their pissed off goodbyes in the forum issues. Allowing members to get flamed in fs/ft even before all the facts are laid out. It is either all or nothing, you want to ban flaming, DO IT. If you don't want to ban flaming, then for Anand's sake, unban nick.
