I'm moving tomorrow, so my phone gets disconnected at midnight tonight (hope I don't turn into a pumpkin). Hopefully I'll be back online early tomorrow evening, amongst a jungle of boxes that my cats will explore with gusto. ;)

I'll be packing lightly from 12 til 8am tomorrow when the pros take over. Moving is suck.

And some of you were already cheering, thinking I'd be gone permanently. ;)

Cheers all. :)

Huzzah!

Oh, wait, you said you'll be back. I wasn't cheering, I was, uh, wishing you well. :)

So does this move involve a redheaded roommate? :)

Hopefully your move goes smoothly and you get connected back up before you get withdrawl symptoms.

I'm moving only ~150 metres from here. No redheaded roomie involved. Maybe later, who knows? ;)

I just thought it would be fun to make a little parody thread of those who announce their departure from Anandtech with such vehemence. ;)

Good luck moving DF, trust me, I will be thinking of you as I finish packing up my kids 3000 toys and all the clothes that I insisted they just had to have to be cool this year. Oh why didn't I just listen to my husband this once? By the way, anybody tell's him I acknowledged he was right, I will have to hurt you. I have that man convinced he never has been once in ten years, and nobody better take that run away from me. ;)

I echo your sentiment that moving is suck. I haven't done it in 13 years and hope to make it another 13. Best wishes for a trouble-free (and breakage-free) move!

Gee, I took a break for (nearly) two days (and have been posting much less lately) and no one even noticed. Then again, there may have been some recent (unconscious) relief generally felt in the OT forum . . .

Hope you have a smooth move. We'll hold down the fort 'till you're back.

Good luck for an at least tolerable move, Denis. Since we just finished one in September, I feel your pain (nearly everything is unpacked now -- took awhile!).

And I have to move next Spring anyway. :D

Posting from a friend's HP. Still navigating between ~100 unopened boxes in my new appartment (I had 7800 lbs of stuff! :Q). My new appartment is definitely 40-50% smaller and I have to throw away a lot of stuff. Right now, it looks worse the engine room of an Oberon-class diesel submarine, even tighter than a 99yo spinster's...grip on Antonio Banderas: just enough empty space to walk sideways...

Back to unpacking.

Cheers all. :)
