Shhh, don't tell anyone.
I swear, I only go to Target for that reason. I've realized my son and I take a direct path throughout the store based on the clearance endcaps. My friend and his wife do it too. She calls clearance "The stuff you don't need, but can't afford not to buy".
I've gotten my son all kinds of cool toys for just a few bucks. I'm talking about things like the JuiceBox portable video players, an RC plane (which we flew last night), Super Soakers, you name it. It's quite addicting.
Hell, Target clearance got me my brand new in the box Panasonic 50" LCD TV for $1100 when it was $2300 almost a year ago now.

You walk the endcaps every week or two and see what's on clearance. Ignore the stuff that's 10% off, see what's in great quantity at 30% off, and buy stuff that's worth buying that's at a good price. Also, it helps to know that every Target changes their clearance prices on their own time table, so if you know one marks down faster, you can get stuff cheaper there, but if you really wanted something that you missed getting at that Target, it might still be available at a slightly higher price at another one.

Interesting...but I'd feel a little wierd loading up on makeup.
Target is a kick ass store. I love shopping there, you definitely can find some good deals. Super Target is even better, brand new one by my house, love it. Their food products, they carry brands I've never heard of, fun to look at all the stuff they carry, and a good variety of them too.

Yeah, and if the price drops within 14 days further still you just take in the reciept and they refund the difference.
I LOVE Target and will only go to walfart if Target doesn't have what I need, even then I feel like I'm cheating (and a little dumber and dirtier for having been in a walfart)

Got a Creative Zen MicroPhoto 8GB for $169.98 last night, came to just over $182 after tax. I was happy!
:laugh: Walfart, I like that. I do agree with you. That store sucks, doesn't it? Largest retailer and they blow.

I sure did and am going back every few days as they seem to be slowly moving the makeup over to clearance end caps
