perhaps he doesn't understand the levels of banning and just assumed he would be banned for a day/week/month and would return.

BennyD, thinkbling was perma banned. (assuming). Thus there is a point, so he won't return.

That could be. I always get "banning" confused. To me, if you get some time off and can come back, that is a vacation. If you can't come back, that is a ban.
