Time to get new glasses. Lens Crafters? Pearle? or the local vision center?

I got pissed at the place I normally went to... filled my prescription wrong....
The other 2 places in town were really expensive... Gave Wal-Mart a try for the hell of it...

I've been going back to Wal-Mart's vision center ever since.... very professional there, prices are great, not a single complaint from me.

I got my last pair of glasses at Lens Crafters. They send me x dollars off coupons every year. Last time I was there, I got $300 frames and nonreflective lightweight(featherweight or something?) lenses for around $350 with the coupon.

If you go to their web page, they have some email form and they say they'll send coupons via email. Not sure what kind of coupons you get though. Mine are all snail mail.

Go to the fanciest place you can find and try on all the glasses you care to. Once you find a frame you like, write down the model number. Get on the phone and call around for the best price on that frame. Might find it online, too. Do give Walmart a shot on purchasing the lens. I think they beat everybody.

GAH! Avoid Pearle Vision at ALL costs. I made the mistake of going with them when they had their buy one, get on free sale.

Worst. Choice. Ever.

Talk about a nightmare. It took me 2 months and FOUR lens recuts to FINALLY get the things cut properly.
