Like always, its just going to come down to what types of games you plan to play, what settings/resolutions you play at and what you want to spend.

Personally, I play at lowest resolutions possible for highest fps. I own a used MSI 5770 I bought off forums recently for $60 shipped(I sold all my previous cards and had a 9800GT die on me).

For $100 or less, your best option is an GTX 550 ti or AMD 6770/5770. Those are both about equal in FPS so if you like Nvidia better, get the 550 ti, AMD, get the 6770. 6770's have been on sale lately for $70AR so..... That would be plenty of speed for D3 and under $100.

Heres an Asus 6770 for $80AR off amazon. Newegg has it for same price with Dirt3 game. http://www.amazon.com/Asus-Graphics-...1423580&sr=8-4

Heres an HIS 5770 for $70AR on newegg w/ Dirt3. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161401

$100-$150, get the 6870 or GTX 560 or whatever you can find in the price range. Ive seen many 6870's for $140-$150 lately.

Theres lots of 6850's in the $120 area as well.

Lastly, if you want the absolute best bang 4 buck, buy used off someone on forum. You will get the most for your money this way. As I said above, I got a 5770 for $60 shipped. You can find the best deals that way. Just buy one like MSI or Asus that go by warranty from serial number. Or maybe XFX that can transfer. Lots of people upgrading soon with the new series coming out, so this would be a decent time to start looking for used cards. Just make sure you buy from someone experienced with good heatware.

Diablo 3 nor Minecraft will be terribly demanding. Even a 5770 / 7750 should be fine, but the 6850 is the best value right now if you can find a good after rebate price. in the $120-130 range.

speed wise slow to fast in your price range:
5770 = 6770 ~= 7750
7770 ~=6790
6850
6870

I used a 5770 for Skyrim at 1900x1200 no AA and it ran fine at high-ish settings (not all maxed, but some maxed) Diablo III should be (far) less demanding on video card than Skyrim so that will do.

5770 for $70 AR... Grab that one. The cheapest 6850's are $135 AR or 100% more expensive, but they're about 40% faster. Diablo 3 should run fine on a 5770.

Not sure how fast that 7750 is, I guess its probably the speed of a 6770? Still though, at $40 over the price of a 6770/5770, its hard to recommend that unless power consumption is a huge concern. 40nm vs 28nm.

Thanks for the help guys. I went with the Asus 6770. Never had a problem with Asus and from what Ive read, they have some of the best customer service. PC is almost complete :)

6770 will work fine for you for those games. I played minecraft @1080 with high res textures on my 5750 without any issues.

For $70-$80, a 6770 has a lot of bang 4 buck, probably unbeatable. I am glad I was able to find a MSI 5770 hawk used for $60 shipped. The thing is super quiet too with managing the fan speeds.
