Ummmm, you think? The mechanic is closed for the weekend. Thought I'd start getting ideas beforehand.

My apologizes. I forgot to add the :p to my post.

I'd say it's the tranny, have you checked edmunds.com to see how often the auto tranny fluid needs changing?

Unless they've changed Honda's never used to have filters on their auto trannys so you were suppose to change it every 30-40k miles or so.

Mine car does that anyways, always has and always will. But if her car didn't do it before, I would go get it checked out.

When you don't take care of your car, it costs much more in the long run. I'm learning this by repairing my car, which was neglected by its previous owner. I'm learning quickly not to neglect it. :p

Yup... mine did that baaaad... turned out mount had a crack... :(

I also had the same problem...

Question: Does it thump when switching from Park to Reverse, or from Drive to Reverse (or vise versa)?

If so then it is most likely a broken motor mount... In my Saturn I had THREE broken motor mounts before I got it replaced.. heh... stupid me.

Man, you are an idiot. Obviously, I do not need people to tell me that there is a problem. I am asking for help in diagnosing the problem. If you can't offer help, go away and stop trolling. I am fully aware of the fact that it is way overdue for servicing by about 50,000. That isn't the question at hand. The question at hand is.....diagnosing the problem. If you can't get that through your feeble mind, then good luck dood. Notice that there are other people who were willing to help? Not everybody thought of being a dick like you....

Do you need attention tonight? Awe, I'm so sorry for you. I understand how it is to be lonely. Wait, no I don't. Actually, I understand how it is to shoot your mouth off on the internet to get attention.....Wait, I don't have a clue about that either. Actually, know that I think of it, we don't have sheat in common. So just hit back and get the fvck out of my thread, troll.

There, you got my attention.....Now, I'm done with you. :D
