time to change PSU?

my system will have the following:

dfi lanparty nf4 sli-dr mobo
amd opteron s939 overclocked to at least 2.8ghz (hopefully staying under 1.5v)
gf 7800gtx (only one)
sb audigy2 zs gamer
1 dvd drive, 1 cd drive, 2 hard drives, and several fans.

is my old Antec 480W power supply still enough for this? or should i upgrade to a 550W?

i also think the Antec has a 20 pin motherboard connector, not 24 pin...so do i have to upgrade regardless? and can anyone recommend a good place to get a 550w psu (i will eventually move to SLI and overclocked athlonX2).

your 480 should be fine.....if your going to keep that system you might go ahead a get a new PSU when you switch to using the SLI....just my opinion!

your "old antec 480W"? minus the word "old", i'd say your PSU is set for just about anything...NO i wouldn't feel you need to go over 500W.

after all, your current PSU is made by a very reputable company that stands behind their products.

Yeah, I put my old 6800U in my bro's computer, which has a Antec True 480...the GTX consumes LESS power than the 6800 series, and that 480 works fine. Don't worry, it'll handle it.
