Ive almost convinced my self to get one. Seems like japanesse games play on U.S. machines out the box. Anyone in here have one?... And LIKE it? Or is it a waste of 3 hundred bones?

If your friends have one, yes its worth it because you get to play with them. But if your all alone, then don't bother. The games aren't all that fun.

Right now im bouncing around for the holiday's, visiting family and such. And I cant carry my pc around. Did bring my xbox, but its just a pain in the (_!_) to hook up and occupy the television that keeps toddlers in a quiet daze.

btw... Gradius is beening release for it, SOON! Link and this version seens to be the sizzit!, allowing anywhere saves! and includes Every version ever made!!!!

I have one. I dont really like it. It is just too small, and I dont really go anywhere where I would be able to play games. So if you are going to be using it at home then it is pointless. Just get and Xbox 360 or something.
 
You know I just saw FF at a Rhino's game shop yesterday. And I do have my moded original Advance with inside light and switch.. so im buying that for sure.

Im still going to buy myself something nice for christmas... and a 360 is not to be found 🙁
 
for $300, there better be some killer app that makes you want to buy the system. otherwise, spending that much on a UMD/mp3 player just isn't worth it.
 
haha i just bought myself a psp for xmas the other day.

I got the the gigapack for $300 at that includes 1Gb memory card, usb cable etc...
 
I got one when it launched back in March, but it as been collection dust most of time. I only have one game (maybe this is why, Metal Gear Acid), and it's not too engrossing. I heard some new promising titles will be released next year, so I am hoping for the best.
