I was wondering if anyone out there knew when this great card will be on the market. I would like to purchase this card ASAP and I can't find it anywhere.

I think the price is going to be the same. The asus card has a GREAT bundle as does the sapphire, <----- has a FULL copy of HL2 when its released, not sure about asus. When I say full I mean multiplayer functions as well. These to also has video in capability like the all in wonders. Can't wait to get this ball rolling!

asus is generally a little more expensive than other companies with their nvidia cards so i wouldnt be surprised if it was a bit more expensive than the built by ATi and Sapphire cards

The Asus 9600XT and 9800XT both have what others don't, VIVO and dual DVI (as stated in the press release). I'm looking forward to the Asus 9600XT myself. The only thing I'm worried about is that the pics. of the card so far don't show dual DVI. But if it does, then it will be the only choice for me, along with the new ATI E-Home Wonder and the Remote Wonder II, who needs the All-In-Wonder Radeon 9600 Pro (though I would be getting that if Asus didn't start making ATI cards). (But I am keeping my eye out for the GeXCube version of the A-I-W 9600 Pro too.)

Im not a fan of ASUS cooling systems, they run hotter then even stock HSF setups. The 5900ultra ran ungoldy hot I decided I woudln't buy it, which is a good thing because later that week, the whole "ATI beats sh1t outa NVIDIA on HL2" came around. I ordered my ATI 9800XT through ATI and Im dying for it to come this week.

I have pre-ordered a Asus 9800XT in the UK for £355 +VAT, and it says you get a coupon for the single player version of Half Life 2.
Even the 9600SE @ £80 +vat has a coupon for HL2.

Did you happen to read the System Requirements?

Requires Pentium 4/III/II, Celeron, AMD K6/Duron, Athlon, Athlon XP or compatible with AGP 4x/8x universal slot

Anybody who couples this thing with a K6 or PII needs help.
