Getting ready to buy a new DVD player and I need one that will handle labeled disc OK. I have DVD's that I have labled with the stick on labels and the Xbox plays them all perfect. My current DVD player (Panny RV32) seems to have a problem with some disc. These are all Ritek G04's, the good ones. Taking the labels of is NOT an options at this point. LMK what players you guys have had luck with playing labeled disc, or blockbuster rentals since I think they still use the little stick on security labels on thiers.

Just out of curiosity, how many Blockbuster DVD's have you copied? :p

LOL, seriously tho there is no good rating of this... My RCA 6000 had some probs with labels as well, the only way to do it is buy from best buy or similar places and try all your discs and find which one works best. Generally though the apex ones have been good. But I use a HTPC with DVDrom so labels arent a problem for me.

DVDr's are inherently thicker than regualr dvd pressed media so adding a label screws with some players.... also i think the labels with ink cause some balance issues since dvd's are much more sensitive to blanacing than cdrom media is due to the laser being much smaller.
