When Trump was named in 2016 there was of course no similarly snarky remark from him then.

It's literally the same thread on the exact same topic. Two different politicians named in different years. One can only assume his remark would have been equally applicable then.

Trump must've gotten ahold of at least a hunnert copies and have been swinging away at them with his favorite driver and nine iron thinking of ways to sue that hoax rag for not naming him again because you know, he deserved it more than Biden and that commie foreigner socialist from that "shithole country" of hers.

And then there's Trump ruminating on how he's going to get the same treatment he gave Obama's accomplishments the day Biden and Harris sets foot on what Trump called "The Dump".

Honestly, any Democratic candidate that would have beat Trump this year was a shoo-in for Time Person Of The Year. They wanted "Not Trump" on the cover this year, and they got it.

Personally, I would have picked Fauci instead... nobody knew who he was until 2020, and now he's a household name.

Should have been health care workers. Or Fauci. Just a more relevant choice.

Although I applaud the likely Trump meltdown that's sure to come because of this ... but that could have been achieved with picking Fauci as well.

I'm not particualrly a fan of either that publication nor the, really rather silly, 'MotY' concept. It's not quite as bad as the Nobel Peace Prize (because unlike that even sillier award it doesn't technically claim to be about virtue, merely impact) but it's still pretty meaningless (and like most awards, more about drawing attention to the awarder than the awardee).

How could Time possibly pick Biden and Harris when over 70 million folks know for a fact or would very much like to believe those two crooks somehow stole the election from Trump?
