As a long time Packers and Favre fan, I was so happy to see Brett play his (hopefully) last game the way he did. Last throw? INT. Last Play? Got his bell rung and penalized. i wanted to say some prettty mean things about him. but i cannot. hopefully his shoulder injury is severe enough to warrant a permanent retiring. he should have made a decision and stuck with it. but this is how it goes for most pro sports players. they cannot see the truth as they get older. they want to continue to live their glory days event they are way past their prime and their bodies eventually give out. Barry and Jim Brown did the right thing and left while on top. brett needs to come to the realization that he cannot continue on, he's just too old and broken down. it's too bad he had to take the punishment he did this year, because now he will be known for what he did with the jets, and not with the pack.
on a side note, if and when he does get elected to the HOF would he be able to go in as a Jet? instead of a Packer? as one last snub at the organization? i would find that terribly funny if he did.
