Sounds like you havne't went in and shut off all the default nonsense they have turned on? Also, for sports, there may be a 'sports' mode - I don't watch sports - or you may need all that stuff on for sports. Jerky is a digital thing (all tv's have it) it's a setting that needs adjusted so it goes away.

The 65" Samsung is the better screen than the 75" Sammy...I've never cared for Visio. They just don't look as nice in the stores...which is where they SHOULD look their best.

Or he can get a Vizio P series. They do have OLED at Costco but obviously going to go smaller for the same price but get a vastly superior picture.

Sling was definitely smooth"er". HDHR, not sure, never used it on TV as the previous one had DVT Tuner built in. Have to commandeer one of those soon as we watch OTA a lot and wifey is not happy with the workaround...

@local and @spacejamz, how do you guys OTA?

no OTA...use DirectTV for my tv...I jump between cable and satellite when my contracts are up to get best deals...usually get a $200 gift card when getting jumping back to DirectTV...have done this for past 12 years or so...my direct tv contract expires in April...this time I might try sling or direct tv now...
