My system for the most part runs fine when its on. Its turning it on thats the problem. Rather than swap mobo's / power supplies in and out and replace something, I've decided that its long in the tooth anyways (Barton 2500 @ 2.2, 9800 Pro, nForce 2, etc) and could use several new parts. So I'm looking for some guidance as I've been out of the loop a bit.

CPU: Venice 3200 I'm guessing is the best choice I have considering price differences. Then again, if the 3000 model overclocks to the same point then I have no problem saving a few bucks.

Video: X800XL seems to be a good fit for me. 6600 GT is too slow, and 6800 GT is more expensive without bringing that much more to the table. Any comments appreciated.

Motherboard: Here's where I run into trouble. I'm looking at the following ones:

Asus A8N-E
Asus A8V-E Deluxe
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
Other suggestions welcome.

Case: My current Antec Sonata is fine, though I will get a new PS. I'm thinking the OCZ Modstream 450, or the Enermax EG-565P (which is 535W, go figure). Both of these should fit in the case right? If 450W is enough then I'd rather have the modularity.

Stuff I'm keeping from my current setup:
2x Seagate 7200.7 120GB PATA drives, they are fine and have served me well.
2x 512MB OCZ Premier Series DDR400, matched of course
Samsung DVDRW
Antec Sonata case
ATI TV tuner card

Any help appreciated :)
