I have had this motherboard for 3-4 years now. Its hasn't failed me once, but I feel I need an upgrade... simply because I want to purchase a PCI-Express Video Card and want to really get into building a gaming machine...
System Specs:
Motherboard: P4P800-DELUXE
INTEL P4 2.6C
Video Card: eVGA GeForce 6800
I built my brothers machine last year, which consists of the Asus A8N-SLI... great board, and it had that SLI bridge which I thought was cool.
A few months after that, the A8N32 was on the shelves.
I guess my question is, what do you recommend? Going from an intel mobo to an AMD, should I wait it out for something else? get a AMD x2? and mobo to support it?
any suggestions for this oldie mobo owner would be appreciated, thanks!
