Time for a new watch - Black on Black or Black on Silver?

Both are the same watch, Skagen Titanium Chrono (~ $110)

Just need a little help persuading myself to go all black, or silver with a black face

Black on Black 1

Black on Black 3

or

Black on Silver 1
Black on Silver 2
Black on Silver 3
Black on Silver 4

They are both really nice... but they don't display the date. Mine doesn't display the date and I'm missing it more and more on it but I don't want to get rid of it because of who gave it to me.

The date will be necessary on my next watch... if I ever get one.

have you ever handled one of these? i hope that you're not one of those people that equates heavy with quality. this thin skagen looks light but it feels even lighter... almost as if it's made of plastic.

I tested out the silver one at Macys last week, love the feel. I prefer light and its right up my alley. They didn't have the black one to try.

I like the black on black better, but I'm pretty sure that black is just painted on. Which means eventually it's going to scratch and it'll be a lot more noticeable. For that reason I voted silver/black.

Black and silver would match with more outfits. Though the black on black would look awesome with the right outfit.

I thought I'd like the black on silver, but after looking at the pics, I voted black on black. But look extremely nice though. I sure would like to buy something similar but hard to justify when I have my phone with me all of the time.

I'd want to see them worn. The black looks cool in the pics, but I have a feeling I'd like the silver better in real life.

I'm voting silver, but it's only based on a hunch.
