Time for a new video card

I am now looking to buy a new video card that is decent and looking to pay no more than 120 dollars if possible i am looking to play COD 4 and 5 some sports games bioshock and many more games
i have a core 2 duo @ 2.53 GHz
4GB RAM
1 PCI E slot for the video card
400 watt PSU but going to upgrade soon

so what is thee best video card i can get for that price?

For $120? Radeon 4850 1GB is the best right now. It might be too much for 400w, but if you're gonna upgrade then don't worry about it. But if you can wait a week or more (availability might take some time) a Radeon 5750 would be a better choice. DX11 support, lower power consumption, and better performance for the same price. Waiting for the 5750 is the best thing you can do right now.

You didn´t mention your monitor's resolution but here goes my advice:

If you like ATI cards, go for a 4850 or 4770 (both are great and cost around US$110). Anything faster will be CPU limited on your PC.

If you prefer nVidia: 9600GT, 9800GT or GTS250 1GB.

Just make sure the 12V PCI-e connector can supply enough power (the 4770 and 9600GT are less power hungry and will be OK with any 400W power supply).

Absolutely. It's supposed to be released next week, and availability should be fine by the start of November, let a lone the end.

I run a 4850 just fine a Corsair CX400. Corsair make some great power supply's however.
