Time for a new TV... Seeking Suggestions..

I think our 15 year old 27" Hitatchi just took a sh!t.. So tomorrow were going shopping...

We will be looking at the 30-36" HDTV(Widescreen) Tube TV I believe. LCD's are rediculosly expensive for what you get. And I dont like the 'quality'.

So some suggestions..? Toshiba, Sony, JVC?

Past experiences?

Will take suggestions of other TV's but I think I like the previously discussed options best.

For less than the cost of that 34" Sony you could get a 46" Samsung DLP ($1,600).

I've had good luck with JVC, but mine is 8 years old now so it's been awhile since I've shopped. I'll probably be moving up to something like that 46" Samsung since the price is reasonable, the size is nice (big screen but only 18" deep), and the weight is under 75 pounds.
