Time for A New Monitor?

My current monitor is a 19" HP warranty replacement (M90), and was probably a refirb. Just got it this past August. The monitor will turn on (green light), but there is no picture. Is it worth looking to get it repaired or just get a new CRT (either 17" or 19")? If I go ahead and get a new monitor, what are the important things to look for?

Thanks in advance.

If the monitor is still in warranty, I'd probably have it replaced. It'd be a nice setup if you decide to go multi-monitor later on. :) I'd recommend a Samsung 955DF if you need a replacement 19".

The warranty I used was an extended warranty from my wife's old Pavilion. The warranty is definitely dead.

Running two 19in. monitors here... NEC/Mitsubishi 930sb and a Hitachi CM721F. Both are highly recommended.
