Finally hit lvl 60 3 weeks ago with my warrior, but I dont like how you have to do 40 person raids to get the best items. Thats just asking to much.

Sold my account for 450 bucks, and now its time for a new game. Already tried Guild Wars and its just not growing on me. I think I might just start playing Diablo2 again for a bit.

Anyone here play lineage 2?
 
L2 is full of chinese people running around in top of the line gear, bots, farmers, and it has basically no GM support in game. I played all through the beta and it wasn't bad, but I definitely regret buying the retail game since it was so much different gameplay wise.

It had a good concept and would have been fun if NCSoft gave a rats ass about the players.
 
EQ2 still owns WoW.

Honestly. Give it a try. You can even try it free with the Trial of the Isle. Get one good group and you are hooked.
 
I hear i can sell my 60 priest / 50 hunter for near 600, maybe higher since i have an epic mount + a lot of epics...

hrmm...
 
I played Lineage 2 it was decent. ALOT of "kiting" shooting bow, running away, shooting bow, running away, while the thing comes after you.

No PVP though. I played the demo and it was ok, still not that super.

They are probably going to put in PvP in the coming paches🙁

They already have duels and arenas on the test servers, IIRC.
 
I hope blizzard finds out you sold it and comes for you in the night. 😛

But yea it gets boring when you hit level 60 and have to do the raids.

Thank god I quit before they reduced the number of people a instance can have in a party but to bad I left before BG but it wasn't worth the extra month to wait until they got around to making them.

Do what I do and get in some of the beta tests for the new games coming out to see what is coming out. 😀
 
I hated Guild Wars when I first started playing it, but after getting really far in it (just finished ascension) it is a GREAT game. Just give it some time. The first 5 or so missions suck, then it gets good.Plus theres always the Underworld.

EVE-Online is a great game.. I enjoy it for its sheer complexity and player interaction.
 
Whoa, you can sell accounts for 450 dollars? That means you virtually didn't pay anything to play the game... and you still had a fun experience. Whoa :-O
 
I played GW for a while, it was pretty damn fun. It looks like it has a lot of potential too, because the damn world map is so big.

Too bad I got hooked on BF2 😀
 
Guild Wars is all about pvp. The pve content is decent but pvp is where it is at.

I don't recommend l2 because it is a crazy ladder game 🙁 I think going from wow to l2 will be a shock because you can't lvl anywhere near as fast in l2 as you can in wow. Also l2 is open pvp so you can be killed almost anywhere by another player, but I do have to say I think l2 has the best open pvp system around.

oooooooooh... i've looked into free servers before, but it was a while ago... most of them didn't have skills working or any of the chronicles working. has all that been fixed on free servers by now?

It's not full C3, so you might be disappointed if you're used to retail. I, having never played L2 before, am having a blast. All the skills certainly seem to work fine.
