Time for a new case?

I recently upgraded to a new system; check my sig.

I've been enjoying the machine now but notice my temps rather high.
I am now crashing from games or even getting strange artifacts at times.

I've been monitoring my temps for some time now and here is what I get.

Keep in mind, I have a piece of crap case; bought it for $35 in a computer show.

CPU: 55-58c (idle) : 64c (load)
Mobo: 59c (idle/load)
GPU: 60-70c (idle) : 83c (load)

I suspect this case has crappy airflow.

I've already ordered a NV Silencer 5 for the 7900 GT and I'm considering the Zalman 9500 for the CPU....

I've been looking at many many posts here under Lian Li, and I'm wondering if someone has had experience with the huge Zalman and a Lian Li case.

Any thoughts? Comments? Recommendations? Greatly appreciated

Thanks!

Don't trade one POS for another! That's what most ppl do...

That's my 'thoughts', 'comment', and 'recommendation'!

If you're still 'with me', check my 'System Rig' for the ultimate 'gamers case'... ;)

centurion 5: I'm curious if this has great airflow with only 1x 80mm and a 1x 120mm.
I've got more 120mm fans coming in and would love to use them...

It's also on sale, so i'm leaning towards this one:

$44.99 AR of -$10

The Lian Li PC-7B Plus II looks great, but the Centurion 5 has that side duct that I think would help a lot.

Only concern I have is I'm going to be ordering the Zalman 9500:

The centurion has that side duct vent and i'm curious if its going to get in the way.

Thanks for the replies

Yes, the side intake duct will get in the way. Any side fans/ducts are a distraction from what you should be aiming for with that CNPS9500...which is going to be a front to rear airflow. In addition to any tower CPU cooler that blows front to rear, I would recommend buying a Scythe Kama Bay (fit it with a more powerful 1200RPM fan) or modding three 5.25" bays to deliver airflow directly to the cooler.

So far, my temps have gone down considerably!
on full load temps hardly ever exceed 55C on the GPU.

CPU on full load doesn't go beyond 45C-ish. and motherboard around 35C?

Anyways, I get green checkmarks on Speedfan, so I guess I did something fine :)

I'm happy with the case. Great airflow and I even mounted a 80mm AC fan that goes next to the powersupply.. Time to start overclocking and see where that goes :)

Thanks for the input!
