I know mostly what components I'm going with, but I need recommendations on a few topics:
1) My old machine was kinda loud. Not super loud, but loud enough to be annoying. Especially when I ran any valve game for some reason, the 2nd fan on the PSU would kick on and start going ape. So any recommendations for a particular quiet case or PSU? I'm thinking about the Antec P180 case (see issue #2), and this PSU:

2) Cable management. I heard the P180 is good for this. I currently have a cooler master centurion, but I found the cable layout is very tight. Other than that I love this case.
3) I forget the term for this, but I'm looking to get an 8800GT that is not so friggin' long. Seriously the 7800GT I have now takes up like 80% the length of the motherboard, it's ridiculous. If there is no such thing no big deal.
In terms of a budget for these things, there really isn't one, but I wasn't going to go too nuts, cause I still have to buy memory, probably a new monitor, etc. So < $500, but remember that amount only applies to a case, PSU and possibly new video card, so it should go pretty far.
