Time and date keep changing after restart (Windows XP)

I recently installed a few programs on my computer and now for some reason, whenever I restart my computer the date changes to april 2016. I don't know what I did but it's annoying because I can't sign on to msn messenger unless I change the date back to what it's supposed to be. any ideas?

It sounds like this malware is often coming with programs downloaded from P2P sources.
