Tim Hortons/Wendy's

(that probably answers your question)

Tom? who the hell knows. Tim Horton's, on the other hand, is a wildly successful donut/coffee shop chain that started in Hamilton in 1964.

is Hardees anywhere in the mix? All of the Hardees that used to be around my house were bought up by Timmy's years ago...

Tim Hortons is amazing (when I visited Canada). I don't see it at all around where I live (Northern Virginia).

You could pick out a box of like 24 doughnuts for ridiculously cheap.

Wendy's cheated. Instead of organic growth they had to buy Horton's to grow their revenue. Cheaters deserve to fail at stock market.

how widespread is Tim's in the US anyway? Here you can't fart without hitting one.

link, not very many compared to the Canadian stores.

cool info. If Tim's were to become as widespread in the US, they'd need 100 times more stores than they have now.

If your bank account is green and you're not wearing handcuffs, you didn't cheat. 😛

I'm surprised they even exist in the US, seeing as they were started by and named after a Canadian hockey player.
Wendy's bought them and opened some up.

Well, freakin' DUH. The region of Hamilton-Wentworth has 70 stores alone.
