No, it didn't come from Joey but he was the one who gave the warning to both teams that the officials wouldn't tolerate arguing non-calls. Since most players argue them, and only one person got one - you have to wonder if there was some influence on behalf of Joey.
Oh, and it wasn't Pop who set that - it was the score keeper in San Antonio who was just messing with Tim.
It was done on purpose, as a joke - the scorekeeper's can put anything they want in if someone is a DNP and not on the injury list.
