They don't have to.
If you were gay, would you do him for his money?
WTH is this crap?
In order to be proud, one has to accomplish something in that regard.
Proud to be gay? You didn't really accomplish ANYTHING
It's no different than "proud to be American" or "proud to be <insert nationality>"
Why be proud of something that fell into your lap?
Be proud of being a CEO of Apple, now there is something to be proud of.
Why is it always gay people that need to be proud. I hardly ever see heterosexuals advertising or being proud to be one.
Stupid, I'm sorry.
I dont think any straight person, such as myself, that has no experience living in a world where you are actively discriminated against because of who or what you are, is in a position to question why someone in his shoes feels the way they do.
nobody really cares who is gay or who isn't.

When will being gay quit being a thing? Who the fuck cares anymore? It is like coming out against segregation: yeah, about 99.9% of us are on board with it and don't give a flying fuck.
To be sure there are still things that need to change, such as wide acceptance of gay marriage, but I know of people who are supportive of gay but have an issue with changing their definition of marriage. Just like minorities can still feel pockets of racism with a slim minority being racist.
Is gay going to be the new thing for the next 50 years? It feels like for the past 15 years it is such a non-issue and the only ones who care about it are other gay activists.
TLDR - NOBODY FUCKING CARES ANYMORE!

If he's so proud of being Gay, why did he wait until now to mention it?
I do applaud him for taking a stand publicly.
I guess the word "proud" can have different connotations, and different significance to many people. Perhaps I just thought that in this day an age, most of us had moved past the need to feel proud of our sexual orientation.
P.S. Now that I think of it, I said to friend once who is a lesbian. She was pretty annoyed at me.
He didn't. It's been known for a while.

No, I would not commit sexual assault on a guy who can pay people to dispose of my body.Would you kiss Tim for $20?

Let's ask the difficult questions.
Tim Cook: Top or bottom?
speaking from experience?? You tried the gay life style out....Wait. Didn't we already know he was gay before he took over for Jobs?
I wouldn't say I'm proud to be straight. I am honestly a bit grateful though. Life's so much easier when you're straight.
