Hey fellas how yall doing ? I was just thinking about this. My temps are too high basically. My question is

I put a bunch of TIM everywhere with latex glove,,, its a big ammount, not a thin line or something.

Im thinking theres soo much TIM the contact between waterblock and CPU is not a good one ?

I dont feel like taking out CPU because, Im already going to take it out in 3 months when Ivy E comes out. thanks gg

The right amount of TIM is the least amount of TIM. You want the thinnest layer possible mating the IHS to the heatsink.

Thanks ViRGE, gotcha,, so basically I put on way too much and might be giving me horrible results... Which TIM do you recommend ViRGE ? ALso I just put a line correct ?
thanks
