Did you notice the look of fear on Tim Allen's face when he did the burn out?

Haha yeah I lol'd when I watched it that first time. Almost as if it was his first time doing it. Maybe it was the cars parked on the side of the road that made him nervous

Rofl at his expression. Saw that car at the LA auto show this year. Awesome looking car.

Those two guys = 2/3 of a real US TG competitor show. Maybe just add Adam Carolla to complete the trio.

I think it was that, from the dash cam, it looked like he was swiveling the ass of that car down the road quite a bit. I'd have the same face for my precious.

I thought about posting this and some others to see if anyone here watches Jay Leno's Garage. It's a really fucking good show. I was never a Jay Leno fan and I definitely am now. Admire the guy a lot.

Nice car, anyway. I'd definitely love to have one. :awe:

I'm not necessarily a classic muscle fan, but that is one hot car. Love the color and detailing.

If having Leno's garage means having no fashion sense I'll take it!

Here's a guy with more money than God but the fashion sense of a hobo. A guy who clearly puts zero effort into his look. I'm not exactly a fashionista but my closet isn't full of the same blue denim shirt and blue jeans either. At some point it just looks comical. I can't believe Tim Allen didn't give him any crap about his wardrobe. :p Maybe that's taboo with Jay though...

I know, who cares... he's a car guy but I just can't get past it. :D

I do like the car though.

When he goes to certain car shows and is going to be with folks like GM, he puts on a pretty nice suit. Looks real snappy and modern. (Just looked up the link; OK, maybe not so nice. My memory made him look a lot better. He would actually look pretty damn good if he lost a little weight and slimmed down the suit a bit)

Maybe its me but after watching numerous videos of jay leno and his vast collection of cars he seems like he doesn't really know much about them, he likes them and enjoys driving them but give him a wrench and he'll probably try to eat soup with it.

What the fuck are you talking about? Jay Leno knows his cars very well. He seems like fucking Wikipedia when it comes to his knowledge about just about any car. Hell, he seems to know more about his guests cars and their history than they do! I'd bet Jay could work on all his cars, with time, but he has so many that he could never work on all of them. That's why he has his own shop and mechanics and leaves it to them to work on them full-time.

Knowing history of cars is one thing, knowing how things work on a car is another and that's what he seems to lack.

Maybe? Who cares. If you understand how many cars he has, then you would understand that that criticism is pointless. It's like saying, "Oh, well, that mechanic is trash because he can't work on EVERY CAR THAT'S EVER BEEN PRODUCED. HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT CARS. WRENCHSOUP"

Simply not true. He actually messes up on the history stuff. But he has a good mechanical knowledge of things. He does get his hands dirty from time to time.

He's not a scripted know-it-all. What he knows follows his interests. His knowledge is nearly encyclopedic in some areas, shows passing interest in others, and he's skipped over what he doesn't care to know. But not wrenching? He owns and drives steam, turbines, electrics -- no one who didn't have an interest in the actual machinery would care about the difference. Nor would he be so into doing restorations -- he would only buy them.

He may not be doing the machining or assembly, but he's obviously comfortable around a car lying in parts. Looks to me like the guy could change a set of plugs.
