Tilted Kilt, any good?

I am in Norcross, GA...there is a Tilted Kilt up this way (not sure what else no one answered in the bar thread).

These any different than a Hooters?

I have a few friends who've gone there, though I've never been myself. Seemed like they enjoyed the place. If you're up for a bit more of a drive (20-30 minutes), the Tavern at Phipps Plaza has a somewhat similar atmosphere and is good times, especially around happy hour/dinner.

The one by me has no beer selection to speak of (miller, bud, (cause it's a irish place, get it?)) and probably the worst food in a sit down restaurant I've ever eaten.

To top it off, the chicks are gross enough I would actually pay for them to put on more clothes.

I believe they are going for a "Scottish" vibe...not Irish. Still, the beer sucked and the women at the one I went to in St. Louis looked like they shaved more often than I do. Hooters does the crappy womanizing restaurant with shit beer better.

If you want to go to a quality Tilted Kilt, go to the one by town center mall on Barrett Parkway. A lot of the hot girls from Kennesaw work there. I go there when I am down in GA visiting my old friends. The food is better than hooters in my opinion, and the girls are hotter. Think more college age.

The one in Johns Creek is like 4 miles away...the next closer is like 20mins. I'd rather walk to the place, but there is nothing like that here.

You'd think so, but there's 4-leaf clovers everywhere and the ladies sometimes where green leprachaun hats and such. I think they're confused.

Anyway, the one in my area is just like Hooters. The girls in my area are decent looking and the food is what you'd expect from any chain restaurant. They do have 100oz towers of beer though which I like.

The location in north Columbus is nice. Food was excellent. And top notch girls, across the board. I think the concept is just nicer than Hooters too. The Hooters outfit has just gotten stale. The Tilted Kilts uniform is sexier too.

thats weird, the one i have gone to many times with customers has good food and nice lookin ladies. some are even hot. i have their calendar on my wall as we speak, its actually waitresses from around the country. couple of them from here in the valley as well, pretty nice. ive been to the one in mesa a couple times as well, good food and decent girls when i was there too.

we used to have a tilted kilt here in houston but it was way out in the burbs and died.

we're getting our second twin peaks right across the freeway from the main hooters here.

wouldn't mind a bone daddy's house of smoke here either

It's different when you are entertaining children versus yourself and other adults.

The food is important.

It's not 5 star dining, but Hooters wouldn't have made it if it sucked.

Also if you are into cigars be sure to stop by Mack's. It is by far the best shop I have ever been to. I'll be there sometime tomorrow before heading back down.
