Jaw about hit the floor when I saw Hays, KS in the thread title. I went to FHSU for freshman year in 1995-96, and a little bit for grad school. Even lived on the 5th floor of Weist Hall. Basically lived off the Taco Bell that was in the basement due to work, etc.

Oktoberfest is awesome. Holy whole town intoxication Batman. Last I remembered, they had sobriety checkpoints on most/all roads leading out of Hays. That and walking through Big Creek park and not seeing any grass ANYWHERE due to all the plastic beer cups laying all over. Ahhh memories...I think...if I remember.

Down in Texas now, so too far for me.

Believe it or not, its getting even worse. They actually had alcohol related deaths recently. The drinking here is going through the roof. people have been getting MIP's and DUI's left and right. They are trying hard to tone it down but it only gets worse. I wonder what will put an end to it. Who knows....

As for Manhattan, I agree...there are better things to do, but I still think our Lan Parties are bigger ; p So come on over so you can believe me. Deal?
