I have both, they are nice to quickly backup and/or to carry files from machine to machine.

Have you looked at the rebate form??? You gotta wait 14 WEEKS!!!!! Forget that. I don't know about you but I'm not waiting that long for a rebate.

but this is tiger direct we're talking about..
they are pretty shady to begin with... I dont think i'll get anything with a rebate from tiger direct unless it's a company rebate or something.

the last time this deal was on, they moved the rebate forms, then put them back the last possible day.
Print the form NOW, and send it in ASAP... plus dont plan on seeing that money for 6 months min.

I notice in the specs it says "Bootable (boot from USB/boot from BIOS) & non-bootable versions available", though there's no mention whether this obe is bootable...

I'm waiting for a good deal on a bootable USB2 pen drive...

Most recent motherboards support the ability to boot from the USB pen drives instead of booting from a floppy. Just another sword being plunged into floppies as we know it. DIE FLOPPY DIE!! :D

Jeepers, I'm gone for awhile and there isnt that many that would remind da n00bies about tigerdirect's ways? :( They suck, they dont keep follow through and if you are the lucky one(s) that they do: well I guess you're the lucky one(s). That said, is it only TD's shills posting for them?

Yeah, another vote against TD.

They can keep posting TigerDirect deals.

They can "forget" to mention what the shipping is in their hot deal (without shipping) posts.

But there will always be at least one of us to warn the inexperienced to stay the F away from TigerDirect.

Rebate must be postmarked by April 15th... so you gotta get this out in less than 8 days...

too close for my taste.

Too bad it's USB 1.1. Too slow to transfer. I have 64MB USB flash drive pen and took a while to transfer.
